Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Amy, and I am a Colorado native now living in Maine who loves animals and nature. By day, I am a Spanish teacher (sÃ, hablo español), but by night, I am a pet carergiver. I have always lived with at least one dog in my home, until college when pets weren't allowed in the dorm. I have experience house sitting as well as caring for dogs and cats while neighbors and family friends are out of town. I have a very patient, calm, and friendly personality that can help animals feel more at ease with a new person. I am ready to take your furry family member on an adventurous walk, or we could get some needed rest and relaxation with a book or movie. A typical day
I love hiking, so if the usual neighborhood walk is not what your energetic pet needs, we can stroll around a local trail! My family’s dogs also enjoy listening to me read a book out loud or practice piano and violin.
