I’ve not only taken care of but built a connection with every single pet I’ve gotten the opportunity to watch in my life. I will come babysit any animal and love it, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, even a frog! I genuinely love animals and love caring for them and building trust with them. It’s my favorite thing when an animal recognizes me and gets excited to see me :). I care so much about building a true and genuine bond with every pet I get the chance to. I cook at a resident home for my day to day career, but other than that i’m free. When i am at the resident home working, its pretty nice hours, i am able to be there and care for the animals for a lot of the day. I will feed, give medicine to, and/or let out the dog as many times as requested, provided I am able to be at the animal’s home at those times. Checking the house for pee spots/ poop and cleaning it properly, and making sure the house is well taken care of and clean to come home to. I will also make sure the dog’s being fed the right amount, given a reasonable amount of treats if allowed, and taken on walks/ played with outside (depending on the animal/owner’s preference) as often as possible. And overall, just genuinely take care of and give lots of time and care and love to make the animal(s) feel comfortable and happy while their owner is away.
