We have been dog, cat and bunny sitting for the past few years with an organization called Trusted House Sitters and with Rover and other services for the past year. We have sat breeds as varied as Rhodesian Ridgeback, Greyhound, and Yorkies, and many mixed breed dogs. We have sat for cats and even bunnies! Pete grew up with cats. Amy grew up with dogs. In our 35 years of marriage we've had 3 dogs and 2 cats. We've also helped our daughter with her volunteer work for a dog rescue organization providing a foster home and finding permanent homes. Pete also has some experience working with bomb K9s while working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Pete is a retired pilot and Amy is a semi-retired teacher/tutor. We are available for long or short term sits. We are currently not available to have your fur baby stay with us. We walk about six miles per day. We are non-smoking homebodies so we won't leave your babies for long stretches. We love to go to dog parks!
