Pet care experience
Hello! Pet care has been my business and full time career since 2019. I have a lifetime of animal care and experience, and have been caring for the pets of others for 16+ years now. I am a non-smoker. I am currently accepting new clients. I am gentle and calm, and have experience with puppy and kitten litters, as well as experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I have experience with other pets as well, including small animals, fish, and some farm animals. As an animal lover, my goal is to make you and your pets as comfortable and happy as possible during your time away, whether you're a regular client or just need me to stay once for an unexpected trip, I am tidy and reliable, and will look after your pets as if they were my own.
Reviews
Amy was amazing! She watched our dogs for two nights and kept us updated. Nitro and Bean had so much fun, and when we returned, our house looked amazing and smelt good too! Highly recommend!
Amy stayed at my house for the week and I couldn’t be happier with how it went! Sadie remembered her from over 1.5 years ago when Amy last watched her and it looked like they had a fun week! Amy gave updates with pictures morning and night and left my house spotless. Will be using her again in July, thanks Amy!!
Amy is always so great with my puppy!! Appreciate her help :)
Amy does great drop in visits for my puppy Sadie!! Sadie enjoys getting out of her crate, getting special treats and playing!

I do not care for pets in my home. I treat my clients pets and property as if they were my own. I work hard to make sure your pets are comfortable and cared for, and when I do overnights, caring for your home is something I take pride in. The last things anyone wants to do is come home to a mess after travel.
Information Amy P. would like to know about your pet
I have no issues working with anxious, young, or old pets. I do NOT accept pets with aggression issues. This includes bitey hamsters and chickens who think they are roosters. If I know about a behavior issue beforehand, I can usually prevent it from happening. During our meet and greet, please bring up any behavior quirks, needs, or concerns to make sure I can provide top quality care for your pets by being aware of their needs, so we can set them up for success.
A typical day
A typical drop-in lasts 30 minutes. Some pets simply need to go outside and are completely uninterested in me and prefer to go back to sleep, while others may need more time due to being very young or ill. We can talk about your pets individual needs and make adjustments. Typically, I arrive, check on your pets and home, look for messes or issues. Then we go outside, eat, play, take medicine, etc. I will check in at the end of the visit with a photo and update.

Availability
Pet care is my full time job. I am available most of the year for drop-ins and overnights, I do limit drop-ins and walks to certain times of day, however each situation is unique and I am usually able to accomodate most requests.
