I am home full time. Boarding- I am pretty flexible with drop off. I would like pick up to be by noon on the day of pick up. I understand some things happen sometimes of course so if they needed to be picked up later, I can accommodate that. There will be a daycare charge for any time after noon. Daycare- I can be flexible so I am open to pick up and drop off times. Drop ins- I can talk them on a 10 minute walk if you would like, get them food and water, play with some toys, and just hang out and give them some attention.

I am either outside doing yard work (or relaxing), or up and around doing stuff in the house or with my kids so I am able to keep an eye on what the dogs are up to. You might meet my husband (Dave) at the door if I’m rounding up the kids when you arrive. Dave has been a big help walking the dogs, feeding and giving them some love. I do not crate unless that is something that they do at home. I may have to run out to the store or run the kids somewhere so I will crate the dogs or leave them out, depending on what they are used to at home.

I would like to make sure your dog is house trained, gets along with children and other dogs, and is spayed/neutered. There are no breeds that I am unwilling to watch.
A typical day
My kids and I love going on walks! We have a quiet path that runs behind the houses around the neighborhood. My son is great with animals and would love to play catch and love on the dogs. The deck door is open for the dogs to go in and out on most days. I love to watch them running around with eachother playing! I have found that I am usually the leader of the pack... they like to know where I am and what I’m doing, so they are free to go wherever I go. We also like to give them treats cause they are always such good dogs!! Just let me know if your dog has any allergies. I typically give grain free rawhide free treats.

*I cannot take adult, large breed, intact dogs, there has been some confusion with this in the past so I want to start with this. Puppies are welcome. I adore animals and love having them visit our home! I have been watching dogs for 8 years now and I still love getting to spend time with our regular visitors and meeting new friends. I have two kids, Harrison (11) and Lulu (9). They spend a lot of time playing and cuddling with the dogs. I am home all day so they get to roam the house and hang out with me all day. Most dogs usually follow me around like a shadow haha and I love it! They are my buddies and keep me company.❤️We have a 5 year old terrier/yorkie, Lexus. She enjoys playing with all of the dogs and keeping them active! We also have three cats, they will hang out with the dogs if the dogs are ok with it. We have a large fenced yard and on most days I leave the door open enough that they can run in and out as they please. We also have a beautiful walking path behind our house, I like to take the dogs walking if that’s something they enjoy.( the dogs also like to stand on the deck and “say hello” to people and dogs passing by lol). We do allow dogs on the furniture and in our beds. They can sleep wherever they are used to and where they are comfortable. I treat a dogs visit like a vacation for them, we like to make them as comfortable and at home as we can!

Oakley had the best time and was nice and tired when he came home :)
We are very happy with Amy and helper for caring for Nela. She is a senior diabetic cat and started eating less while we were gone. They communicated well with us so we could manage her insulin needs. Thank you for being there to give Nela pets and attention.
Amy was excellent in watching Zara for us. She was very responsive when communicating and answered any questions we had. We recieved daily pictures and updates so we knew Zara was doing well and having fun. When we had a delay on our return, she was very understanding and allowed us to extend the booking until we got home.
As usual, Josie’s stay with Amy was great! The way Josie always strains on her leash to get in Amy’s front door reassures us that she is at the right place.
