I work from home, my kids are older and I LOVE to walk dogs. It's therapy for the soul. The welcome party your pet throws for me everytime I walk in the door is pure joy. I believe in keeping a dog in their happy routine so if you have specific needs, that include medication or food I will honor that and be sure to follow your same schedule and rules. I also adopted a senior dog a few years ago so they have a very special place in my heart. And of course happy puppies are always welcome. I have a lot of experience with training dogs so I am sure you will see some behavior improvements just from your dogs time with me. I am excited to get to know your pet and see their happy faces each time they see me. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my children, gardening and volunteering at Journey Care a Pediatric Hospice and Palative Care facility in Barrington.

Amy did a great job watching our 2 German Shepherds! We got daily updates and pictures of the dogs enjoying their stay! I highly recommend her and will definitely book her the next time I need a dog sitter.
Amy and her husband watched our 3 dogs for almost a week. We moved to IL from N.C. and needed a temporary home for them while we were moving into our new home. Amy was amazing with them! She was extremely accommodating and sent lots of updates and pics. We will definitely be back!
This was our 1st time using rover.com so at first I was very leery about whom I can leave my dogs with and spending that amount of money but after a week at Amy's I would do it 10 times over again and again. Amy and her family were absolutely amazing--very caring, very attentive and spoiled my dogs just as much as I would have if we were home. My dogs truly had a vacation while we were on our vacation allowing me complete peace of mind and relaxation to enjoy it better. Also I was nervous about Amy not having a fenced in yard but that worked out even better since they got to go for walks every night meeting horses, cows and llamas-- having a true adventure of their own. I can't thank Amy and her family enough for all they have done for us and our dogs and thank you rover.com for the peace of mind and happiness you brought us as well.
