I am a dog sitter because I have always had a passion for animals and helping animals in need. I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and can't imagine life without them. I have cared for my own pets as well as pets of friends, family and neighbors growing up so I am used to the responsibility. Now that I work as a personal trainer with my own schedule, it is even easier to manage my schedule and handle those responsibilities. I lived in Puerto Rico for 2 winters winter where I fostered puppies that were often found on the streets and tried to get them adopted. I enjoyed it a lot and the experience has geared me even more towards animal care. During my time at Salisbury University I also volunteered helping dogs at the local animal shelter by walking them. I have grown up with both active and lazy dogs, old dogs and puppies, and I enjoy both ends of the spectrum. I love going for long walks on trails, but I am used to having older dogs as well who can only take short walks. While I don’t have my own yard, I have a dog park just down my street! I have full availability now that my summer job has ended and am willing to stay overnight, walk dogs, and/or do drop in visits!
