Overview. We were leaving town for the weekend and needed the sitter to come in Friday afternoon and stay until late Monday morning. When we had the interview, we agreed that if she needed to leave, the dogs shouldn’t be in their crate for longer than 6 hours. Later we made the exception for Friday since she could not be there until 6:30pm and we planned to leave around 10am. On the positive side, Kami is sweet and the dogs loved her during the initial interview. When we returned the dogs and cat seemed well taken care of. For the negative side: On Friday, she did not show until 8:30pm. Only after we inquired where she was, she informed us she was on her way. On Saturday, she left the next day and was gone for 9 hours and returned with her Aunt. We did not give any approval for guests nor did she ask. When asked about her, she made several excuses. We made it clear that it was not appropriate to invite someone over to someone else’s house without the owner knowing and approving. On Sunday, she again left and was gone for 8 hours.

Amy M. did a great job watching my baby, KJ. She watched KJ, my 9 year old pitty, for 3 days and she made sure I knew that KJ was in good hands. She sent pictures and updates regularly showing KJ was getting along with her family and furbabies. KJ came back exhausted and clean (she Amy even gave KJ a bath). KJ usually gets stressed out at the Kennels, but it was evident with the pictures and feedback that KJ was relaxed and felt like she was part of the family. I will be sure to use Amy M. in the future.
