Pet care experience
I've been pet sitting and dog walking part-time for over 10 years. I grew up with dogs and have worked with a wide array of breeds and temperaments. Working with so many different types of animals has taught me how to stay calm in high stress situations, how to give each dog individual attention to fit their needs, and how to work in all different types of settings. My approach is straight forward and easy-going. I like to maintain a daily routine that is similar to whatever your dog is used to as well as giving them extra attention and play time so keep them calm and happy while you're away.

Amy is great with the dogs. She is coming for lunch and rallied for our puppy. He and our adult dogs think she is great. The house is always left properly locked and the alarm is armed. Very happy with her service!
Absolutely outstanding care! At just 7 weeks old, it was very important that I found a caring, patient , and fun puppy sitter. Every day sets the foundation on how Riley adjusts to her new world. I treasure having Amy, and Riley has learned her face and associates it with fun and love.

Before pet sitting I like to know your dog's daily routine, the feeding schedule, med schedule (if needed), and what he or she likes and dislikes. I enjoy taking care of all different breeds so it is important to me to get to know your dog's individual needs. I also like to know the history of your dog: Is he or she a rescue? Are they shy? Do they have a favorite toy? Any details you have that might be helpful to know are valuable information!
A typical day
I live in a nice, quiet neighborhood in the heart of Redmond. During your pet's stay with me we will enjoy walks together around the area. My favorite places to walk are Anderson Park, Evan's Creek Park, and the Sammamish River trail. During the day I usually like to take the dogs on two or three longer walks, with shorter potty breaks in between. Indoor play is also important to me. When not outside, your pet will enjoy playing with his or her favorite toys and getting lots of attention.
