Pet care experience
Currently I'm providing pet walking services, drop-in home visits (feline & K-9) & doggy daycare. I will board pets on a case by case basis After a meet and greet. I also have bred & raised parrots and other parrot birds and will care for your birds in your home or mine. I do have a small bird in high enough cage that others cannot get paws into; he’s on screened porch. Clean, healthy, clutter-free, smoke-free environment with pet friendly flooring. Fenced back yard. Enthusiastic beagle owner, and very dog family oriented. Animals are smarter than we realize. I understand pets behave differently when they're away in a new surrounding; I understand it usually takes a day or two for them to adjust so they need positive reassurance and extra TLC. Every dog is different. I love them all! Please let me know your concerns and pet's needs. Dogs are welcome to lounge anywhere. On sunny and warmer days, Dogs enjoy sun bathing on the rear porch or patio. I do not have or board precious felines in my home, but I sure do love them! For cats I come to your home. I am also able to board birds or drop in to care for your birds. I have hand-fed my own hatched baby birds, and raised many parrot birds. BOOKING DOG WALKING SERVICE: If you book my dog walking service, please keep in mind it is a 30 minute walk where the rover app will let you track my walk and you will be updated on your pets progress. .

Amy was very punctual and quick to answer. She went and did a drop in visit for my dog bandit. Sent lots of pictures and sounds like my dog did very well for her!
Amy gave exceptional care to Trinity! She was very diligent in providing pictures of Trinity, which helped to lower my anxiety while we were traveling overseas. Trinity appeared to have had a wonderful time in Amy's home along with her two dogs. I highly recommend Amy for all of your pet care needs!
First overnight for our boy and he did great! Our pup always loves going to Amy’s house!
Amy is very nice, however I did not find out until I got my dogs home that her dog and my dogs had a scuffle, and she admitted she did not see that my dog had wounds. I would have liked a text indicating that the dogs had a fight. Even if my dog had not been wounded. Also, as I picked the dogs up, Amy indicated that possibly my toy pom had allergies or he was depressed but otherwise everything went fine. When I got home, he was holding his ear crooked, he drank a whole bowl of water single-handedly through the evening , and I found one of his pre-packaged meals still in the bag. I would have liked to know in real time if my dog was not eating or drinking, and apparently the food was not carefully given. I took him to the vet who found no ear infections or tooth problems that would cause his ear to be drooping. She surmised it could have been from injury. I had informed Amy I was still in town during those two days, and to just call or text if there were any issues and I would pick them up, but she never notified me of the issues.

Does your pup typically reject meals until they get used to new surroundings? Any allergies? Does your pup do well with other dogs? Most dogs when they arrive at my home, have anxiety for the first 15 - 45 minutes. After that they either love playing outside in yard or sitting on my lap.
A typical day
I do a lot of playtime in the back yard. Dogs have full outdoor access via doggy doors. Working from home, so we walk every 3 hours and dogs go in and out back yard when they like to throughout the day. We have farm and river views.
