Amy was great with my high energy and anxious dog! She made sure that my dog got tons of running time at the dog parks and kept his tail wagging! Got daily pictures of my dog looking happy!

Better than a kennel (spoil r us)

I have many years of dog ownership and a great love of dogs. I have cared for dogs in their home and my own. I am retired but currently without any pets so am willing to provide excellent care and a happy place for your dog while you're away or unable to give them the attention they need. I can promise a minimum of 2 walks a day, time in the dog parks (if enjoyed ...

What Amy would like to know about your dog

I would want to know eating, toileting and sleeping habits and preferences, whether your dog is on medication, what you do and don't allow that I should reinforce, any fears your pet has, his/her favorite games and activities; bad habits, if any, that I need to watch for (such as interest in the garbage, counter surfing, shoe chewing etc). Any other preferences or comforts (TV?, radio, pillow, crate) you can share. I would also want to know how they interact with other unknown dogs/animals/people encountered outdoors.

Additional Skills
Oral Medication Administration
Senior Dog Experience
Can provide daily exercise
First Aid/CPR
Special Needs Dog Experience

When Amy watches your pet

Your dog will walk at least a few miles a day, if they like, regardless of weather conditions, usually on the bike paths, go to the fenced in dog parks (if enjoyed) play games or fetch in the park and sit on the deck in good weather. There are dog beds and blankets throughout the house and plenty of room on the couch or the bed if s/he wants human company.
