Hello! I am moving at the end of March to Harrisburg, PA area. I will update my availability once I am settled in! My name is Amy! Some basic facts about me are: - I work full time as a middle school counselor - I also worked at a pets hotel for 2 years so I am very aware of critical signs of stress and different behaviors from dogs and cats. - I have knowledge in training dogs, appropriate care for dogs and cats, and am very passionate about all animals. - I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. My parents have had a Bichon Poodle mix, a Jack Russel Pug mix, and a Labradoodle. - I enjoy going for walks, going on adventures, and playing with dogs!

Amy took excellent care of our dog while we were out of town!
Amy’s great. No problems. And her and my dog got along real well. They started playing with each other instantly. I suspect wore each other out. Hopefully she’s available next time I need to park my cog while I’m visiting from out of town.
Amy was awesome with our 4 month old pup! We were away for a few days and nervous about boarding our dog Maggie for the first time, but Amy quickly put our mind at ease. She made sure Maggie got lots of exercise and sent us regular updates. We will definitely use Amy again if we need to board Maggie!

My policy is: whatever you do within your home, I will do the same within mine. For example, if you crate your pet during the night, please bring your crate so that I can as well! If you let your pet on your bed and you snuggle all night, I will as well! I look forward to meeting you and your dog/cat!

I think it’s important to know any negative behaviors that you’ve seen within your pet, such as dog/human aggression, food protection, or toy aggression. I would like to make sure that everyone is safe during their stay so being aware before something happens is important.
A typical day
I love going to parks, hikes, and the creek with fur babies. I also enjoy taking the dogs to the Buchanan dog park as long as they get along well with other pets!

I work about 45 minutes from home so I am only available to watch your fur baby beginning at 4pm Fridays to anytime on Sundays ( not valid for holidays)
