Pet care experience
I am a very responsible, former physician assistant-turned-stay at home mom of 4 and sometimes, a foster mom. I am an animal lover and have been a pet owner to several types of animals since childhood. I have done pet sitting for friends and family over the last 10 years. Currently I have an 8 year old mixed breed dog that has been a part of my life longer than my kids have!

Amy and Jason went above and beyond taking care of not only our cat, but watered our plants AND moved everything from our porch indoors when there was a hurricane warning. They were great at taking pictures of our cat and asked lots of questions before we left. They were friendly and even had their kids come over to help, which h agreed to beforehand. I highly recommend Amy and Jason as I found them to be reliable and efficient and loving towards our kitty. Thanks guys!

Amy was our neighbor and friend who watched our Australian Shepherd for us when we would go on vacation or out of town. Marcy did great with Amy's dog Cora and they loved running and playing together. Amy is very responsible and loving. She made sure Marcy got plenty of exercise and had a loving place to be away from home. Would highly recommend!

For doggy daycare or boarding scenarios, I have a fenced yard and several outdoor decks for outdoor play (including plenty of shade). I have a two-story home with plenty of space indoors for your pet to run around - or to give them their own space, if needed. Our home can be described as active, energetic, and fun with routines in place for some down time. I can give pets walks, medications, exercise, rest, and attention. Pets aren’t allowed on furniture but we play on the floor and outside a lot. Pet beds and rugs are available around the house, as well. For pet walking or check-in services, I am pretty flexible during the day to provide exercise and attention to your pet, along with whatever else he or she may need.

Unfortunately, I cannot care for pets that have any history of aggression toward small children or other dogs or people. Please let me know if your dog has any special eating or potty habits, or medical needs. I am comfortable giving oral and injectable medications if needed.
A typical day
We live within walking distance of a dog park (separated for large and small dogs) and can bring your dog(s) there to play if you wish. Our neighborhood has plenty of sidewalks for walks as well. Your dog(s) will have free access to the backyard that is fenced and if they are active and like to play, they will be entertained with a game of tag, fetch, tug of war, or playing in the hose. There is plenty of space inside for downtime and resting, as well as various toys and bones.

Availability
Because I care for my young kids at home during the day, I have great flexibility for giving your pet walks, potty breaks, attention and FUN! My husband also works from home so someone is almost always around for pet supervision.
