Your Pet’s Safety Comes First Your pet’s care and safety are always our top priority. To give you peace of mind, we’ve put thoughtful safeguards in place to ensure every guest receives the highest level of protection during their stay. • Apple AirTags & GPS Collars: Every dog is fitted with an AirTag or GPS collar while in our care. This added layer of security ensures that, in the unlikely event of an escape, your pet can be quickly and safely located. • 24/7 Monitoring: Our home is equipped with Furbo and multiple security cameras, allowing us to check in and monitor pets whenever we step out briefly for an errand or appointment. • Meet & Greet + Intake Form: Before boarding, we require a meet-and-greet as well as a completed intake form. This helps us get to know you and your dog, review care instructions, and address any concerns—ensuring everyone feels confident, comfortable, and well-prepared. • Safe Socialization: We welcome up to four boarding bookings at a time. Each dog is carefully introduced and socialized, and we never leave pets from different families unsupervised. This way, every pup enjoys companionship in a safe, supervised environment. With these precautions in place, you can relax knowing your furry family member is not only loved, but also protected at every step of their stay.

Information Amy & James A. would like to know about your pet
Important Information for Your Pet’s Stay: Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are our top priorities. To ensure every guest has the best possible experience, we ask that you share any special needs, medications, or anxiety concerns with us in advance. We understand that being away from family can be stressful for some pets, and we do everything we can to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Crate Training Requirement: For the safety and comfort of all pets in our care, we require that every dog staying with us be crate-trained (no exceptions). While we do not routinely kennel dogs, crates provide a familiar and secure space if needed—such as when a pup shows signs of aggression, anxiety, or destructive behavior, or if they are already accustomed to sleeping in their kennel at home. We may also use a crate briefly if we need to step out for errands. Our goal is always to keep pets safe and calm, and kennels are used only when it is in the dog’s best interest. We provide a variety of kennel sizes (XS–XL), so there’s no need to bring one unless your dog has a preferred crate. Our House Rules: • No Marking: For the cleanliness and comfort of all pets, we cannot accept dogs who have a habit of marking (fixed or unfixed). If marking occurs, we’ll notify you immediately and require the dog to wear a disposable wrap. If the behavior continues, the stay may be ended early and future bookings declined. • No Aggression: We have a zero-tolerance policy for aggression. Should any aggressive behavior occur, you will be contacted immediately and asked to arrange alternative care. • Potty-Trained Only: All boarded dogs must be fully potty-trained and accustomed to going outside. We provide frequent outdoor breaks (every 1–3 hours). If accidents become consistent despite this schedule, we may require wraps/diapers and decline future bookings. • Good with Children: For safety, we cannot accept dogs who are not good around children. While our young child is never allowed to invade a dog’s space, we prioritize his safety as well as the comfort of our four-legged guests. What to Bring • Food • Dog bed (optional) • Medications (if needed) We provide all kennels, toys, and chews (antlers, bones, etc.), so there’s no need to pack extras. To avoid losing your pet’s favorite toys, we ask that you keep those at home. We also supply limited-ingredient, low-calorie treats for reward and enrichment—please let us know if your pet has allergies. Our Commitment to You We treat every dog as one of our own. You’ll be notified immediately if we notice any health concerns, changes in appetite, behavior, or bathroom habits, as well as in the event of emergencies. Our goal is always to provide a safe, loving, and worry-free stay for your furry family member.

Play, Comfort, and Daily Enrichment From fetch and frisbee to swimming, walking, and endless belly rubs—your pup will enjoy a variety of enrichment activities designed to keep them happy, healthy, and engaged. Our calm, quiet neighborhood is perfect for daily walks, and with a spacious yard plus direct access to a large backyard lake, energetic dogs have plenty of opportunities to run, play, and swim. For quieter moments, our home is just as welcoming—whether your dog prefers stretching out in the living room, curling up on the couch, or even snuggling in bed, they’ll feel right at home here. To keep you connected, we provide daily updates with photos or videos, typically morning and evening. And if you ever find yourself missing your pup, just reach out—we’re always happy to send an extra update so you can share in the fun they’re having while in our care.

Pet care experience
Welcome to Your Dog’s Home Away From Home Imagine your pup enjoying all the comforts of home while you’re away—snuggled on the couch, playing in the yard, and receiving round-the-clock love and care. We believe every dog deserves a family environment, not a kennel. With personalized attention, a stress-free atmosphere, and plenty of tail wags, we make sure your companion stays happy, healthy, and truly cared for. About Us: We’re Amy and James—a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong love of animals and a passion for providing exceptional care. Having grown up on a farm surrounded by animals, we understand the importance of trust, compassion, and responsibility when it comes to caring for pets. We’ve also worked several years in a professional boarding and grooming facility, gaining valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Today, our hearts are dedicated to Dogs That Help, a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to disabled veterans, first responders, and others in need. Through this mission, we’ve had the privilege of training dogs for specialized service work and successfully trained our two Labradors to respond to PTSD and anxiety triggers. We continue to volunteer our time training service dogs for veterans, combining our love for animals with a cause close to our hearts. While dogs are our specialty, our care doesn’t stop there—we’re also experienced in looking after cats, bunnies, lizards, fish, hamsters, chickens, and more. No matter the pet, we treat every animal as if they were our own. Why Choose Us? With us, your dog isn’t just boarded—they become part of our family. You’ll have peace of mind knowing your pup is safe, loved, and thriving until you’re back home. Warmly, Amy & James

Reviews

Amy and James were great! I could tell tater tot really enjoyed his stay and was treated just like their own dogs. Highly recommend!

Mea enjoyed her day and was worn out! Amy and James sent updates and we felt very comfortable knowing she was well cared for during her stay!

I booked with Amy and James last minute and was very appreciative that they were able to accommodate me. Amy answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease with leaving my two babies with her. She sent me pictures and reassured me that they were doing fine. I definitely will be a return customer.

Took fantastic care of Kenzie and George! We’re so happy to have found them for our fur babies.
