Hi I’m Amy! I enjoy playing catch, exploring new places, going for nature walks, having a relaxing afternoon sitting in the sunshine, reading to my furry friends, and giving my canine companions a nice brushing - it soothes the soul and makes them feel pampered (which I believe we all need). I have experience with breeds from Australian Shepherds to Golden Retrievers, to a darling elderly Labrador; I’ve enjoyed playing with my friend’s sweet pit bulls and Siberian huskies growing up, and more recently I walked and hiked with a friend’s Irish Wolf Hound puppy (so cute and sooo big!). I have provided home cooked specialty meals, visits to nearby ponds and lakes, belly rubs, and ear scratches. My experience also includes cats of all ages and various breeds, as well as some time with birds, chickens, hamsters, and lizards. I provide play, snuggles, story times, as well as consistent companionship for the dogs I care for because both aspects are important for their health, safety, and overall fun! I believe dogs are important members of their families and their health and happiness are my highest priority. I am looking forward to meeting you and your dog(s) and getting to know you both.
