Pet care experience
I'm a foster mom for rescue groups so I have experience with many different dog personalities and needs. My goal is to make your dogs feel secure, and loved. I accomplish this through routine, exercise, and affection, adjusting for your dog's needs. I have owned dogs for most of my life, including a "down" Dachshund. I currently own two rescue dogs, an English Setter and a "Jack-Weenie". I also have two foster Dachshunds in my home. Your dog will be treated like our own when here! When I visit your home, I will greet, potty, exercise, and pet/snuggle your fur-baby. Food and water will be checked, and any accidents will be cleaned up. I can also bring in the mail and curb the mail if requested.

Amy is absolutely wonderful person who quickly became BFF’s with our shy, timid dog. Amy will make sure your pup is well-loved while he/she is in her care--long walks, lots of snuggles, and TLC. Our pup is rarely happy to see us when we return from our trips… that’s how well Amy treats her!
Amy watched our dog over the holidays and did a wonderful job! She even called to express concern that the garage was colder than normal because of the bitterly cold weather. She ensured that he stayed warm and safe while we were away!
Amy has watched our dogs in our home for years. We travel several times a year, including multi-week international trips every 2-3 years. It is a great comfort to know that our pups are being well cared for. This allows us to relax and enjoy ourselves while we are gone. Amy gets my highest recommendation.
