Amy is absolutely wonderful person who quickly became BFF’s with our shy, timid dog. Amy will make sure your pup is well-loved while he/she is in her care--long walks, lots of snuggles, and TLC. Our pup is rarely happy to see us when we return from our trips… that’s how well Amy treats her!

Amy watched our dog over the holidays and did a wonderful job! She even called to express concern that the garage was colder than normal because of the bitterly cold weather. She ensured that he stayed warm and safe while we were away!

Amy has watched our dogs in our home for years. We travel several times a year, including multi-week international trips every 2-3 years. It is a great comfort to know that our pups are being well cared for. This allows us to relax and enjoy ourselves while we are gone. Amy gets my highest recommendation.

Your dogs will be secure and loved!

I'm a foster mom for rescue groups so I have experience with many different dog personalities and needs. My goal is to make your dogs feel secure, and loved. I accomplish this through routine, exercise, and affection, adjusting for your dog's needs.

I have owned dogs for most of my life, including a "down" Dachshund. I currently own two rescue dogs, an English Setter and a "Jack-Weenie". I also have two foster Dachshunds in my ...

What Amy would like to know about your dog

I specialize in Dachshunds, but any breed is a joy! Every dog has its own quirks, and I trust owners to let me know about possible challenges. I definitely need to know how they get along with strangers, kids, and other dogs,

When Amy watches your pet

Exercise is vital for most dogs, especially when they're stressed from a new situation. I exercise dogs in several different ways. They can run the large, fenced backyard, go on walks through the neighborhood or on a rail trail, or play ball or tug.
