Hi there, I'm Amy. I love exploring the city, especially with a four legged friend by my side. My schedule is flexible and I'm active, so I am an ideal caretaker for your pet. I'm experienced, a great communicator and an all around dog lover. Let's set up a meet and greet! I've had dogs of my own since I was five years old. Since moving to NYC in 2012 and back to Chicago in late 2019, though, I haven't had the space or time for one--but I've racked up plenty of hours dog-sitting for friends (they can't keep me away from their pets). I love these furry friends as well as the hours spent marching around the city with them. Dogs remind me that it's ok to focus on what's happening in the moment and just be myself. After all, they do it so well! My experience includes administering medication (both oral and injectable), long walks and jogging, helping dogs through scary experiences (Hurricane Irene in Zone A Brooklyn), and lots of fun times: swimming, dog park adventures, trips to the groomer, and plain old slumber parties.
