I am a native St. Louisan and have been around dogs all my life. I currently have a black lab mix named Leia who is a certified touch therapy dog. Going through the certification process, which included passing the American Kennel Club Good Citizenship test, has given me a new respect for what dogs can learn as well as a desire to help our canine family members live life to the fullest. I do my best to help develop good leash manners (walking on a loose lead, not pulling, jumping, or biting the leash), and if your goal is to wear out a high energy pup, I’m always up for a run! I’m looking forward to meeting some really great dogs, enjoying the outdoors, and getting some exercise myself.
