Pet care experience
Who else thinks animals are better than people?! I'm a HUGE animal lover with years of experience ranging from indoor family dogs to outdoor barn cats and horses. I've never lived without pets in my home and couldn't imagine life without them. I have an extremely flexible schedule and will work with you to accommodate your schedule/events to make your pet the happiest it can be. I'm young and active, and love to take dogs for walks/runs or just play around in the backyard. Don't get me wrong, though, I don't mind lounging out with any lazy or senior pets. :) I have two rescue cats of my own and a lovely bearded dragon. They are my world. I understand the connection parents have with their pets, and I promise to treat your pet with the same love and respect I give to my own babies. I am very communicative, check my email hourly and always have my phone handy. I can update you with texts, calls, and photos if you prefer. Whatever you need, whatever your pet needs, I'm here to help. :)

We recently traveled to Colorado Springs from WI For our sons wedding and traveled with our 3 dogs ages 3, 5 and almost 13. It was my first time using Rover and Amy was absolutely fantastic caring for the dogs while we attended the rehersal dinner and then the wedding the next day. She was so easy to work with and was very flexible in start times. She did a neet and greet as soon as we arrived in town which was so helpful as the were already stressed from travelling and being in a new house. Our dogs loved her which allowed us to go us on our son's wedding. Do mot hesitate....reserve Amy if you need a kind and responsible pet sitter.
The sweetest person and so patient. This is the second she has taken care of our babies. We love the photos she sends of our dogs and cats. Thank you Amy!

During our first meet and greet, I will gather all necessary information that is unique to your pet(s). I keep notes for specific accommodations, like medications or special feeding requirements. I take loads of photos and videos and report each visit with detailed happenings. I’m always available through text or call and have multiple vets, emergency services, and local vet techs saved in my phone for easy access if necessary.

Before sitting for your dog, I would like to hear a brief history of the dog's breed, background, and behaviors. If they are dog friendly, active, lazy, love fetch, love snuggles, if/when you allow treats, whatever you feel may be important about your pup or kitty.
A typical day
Most certainly walks or runs, and for those active young pups maybe even a hike. Play time and fetch in the backyard or local dog park, and lots of love and pets. I always carry an extra leash, doggy bags, treats, and a laser pointer in my car, so we’re always prepared for fun! :)

My typical schedule for my other job is always Mon-Fri 630am-300pm. I have availability before 600am and after 330pm on weekdays, any time on weekends, and any time on holidays!
