I LOVE dogs. My family lost our young Golden Retriever(4 years old) in April and are not quite ready to get another dog, but I would like to offer love and compassionate care for another family or individual dog owner while I heal. I am married to a dog loving husband and we have a 13-year old. I could use some canine cuddles and companionship. Prior to our sweet dog Eddie, our family had a golden retriever who we were blessed to enjoy 14.5 years together. I have a nice fenced backyard where I can play with your dog and I also live near Lake Harriet, a favorite walking spot. I love all seasons and do not mind being in the frigid winter with a four-legged friend.

Amy is the BEST!! She took on a big challenge with our 13 week old Newfie puppy! We were nervous leaving our young baby for a week, but Amy made it SO easy to allow us to enjoy our vacation. She sent daily updates, pictures and showed us she really loved her time with our pup. Thank you Amy!!! Sulley can't wait to stay with you again.
Amy was very responsive and was amazing with my pup who clearly enjoyed her time there. She kept me updated and sent photos of my pup who was mesmerized with the fireplace :). Was reassuring and comforting to know she was doing so well and I did not have to worry. Thanks a million Amy!
Amy was great! She sent us a daily photo with an update which meant so much to us. Tillie got to play a lot, go on walks, and came home tired from a fun long weekend. Would absolutely recommend!
Clover had a lovely and happy first stay with Amy. She enjoyed sleeping under the bed and having lots of outside time walking around the lake. Amy is caring and thoughtful as a dog sitter. We're booking her again soon for Clover to spend a few more days.
