Pet care experience
I chose to be a pet-sitter/vet tech/kennel tech as my first job over babysitting :-) I have owned a variety of pets my whole life, currently own 2 horses, 2 cats, and a dog. I worked as a vet tech/kennel tech all through high-school, loved it. I took all and any pet-sitting jobs I could for a number of years; which gives me a lot of job related experience-which includes medical care as well. I love all dogs equally, big or small. I work a unique rotational schedule. Working two weeks out of town and then having two weeks off; so when I am home I am completely available! I have lived in Colorado for 11 years now and am originally from Anchorage, Alaska. I have no vices and can provide references upon request. Thanks for looking!

We were so happy to have Amy. She sent us pictures of our pets and let us know daily how they were. Our trip was just an adult trip and she was incredibly flexible with our kids stopping by daily with their grandparents to see our dog and cat. This was especially helpful as we had to put one of our cats down the day prior to our trip very unexpectedly. Her kindness was so appreciated. I would recommend Amy and hope to use her again.
Amy was an amazing house keeper and pet sitter. Our last minute booking went very smooth given my lack of planning and knowledge of my parents home/dog. My parents dog, as well as our 2 dogs and 1 cat, were a big task and Amy was always communicative and professional. The morning and nightly messages were perfect for us and kept us in touch with everything going on at the house. We loved the photos and would highly recommend her to anyone in the area.
Amy is absolutely fantastic with our two pups! She treats them and our home like her own. Any time we need a sitter we go to her first.
Amy was great. Very communicative of what was going on with our dogs. Our oldest dog has anxiety issues, but seemed very at ease with Amy. We will definitely be using Amy for our dogs again!

No breed preferences, love them all, I would just want to know any vices the animal may have, dislikes especially. Allergies, socialization challenges, just to make sure I am as responsible as I can be with them, without limitations on fun.
A typical day
Since I would be staying at my client's home, walking from their home, checking on their dog at their home, I would take full advantage of whatever they have around (i.e. parks, dog parks, etc). I like fetch, tug-of-war, just playing in general, I am not afraid of slobber or dirty paws!
