I will show your dog the best time!

Pet care experience

I am a caring, compassionate and engaged dog sitter. I had a dog of my own from the age of 10 until I went off to college. I have pet sit for others in the past. I am capable of keeping a dog entertained and calm and am aware of signals such as exhaustion, hunger, and thirst or if the dog is under any stress/pain. I have spent time with my parent's dogs most of whom are elderly or special needs. I am very, very patient and will keep a dog as active as they want to be. I have such a fun time with every dog that walks into the local coffee shop. I treat every dog as if they were my own with tons of love and affection.

In all of the years that I have known Amy, it seems like the dogs like her more than anything in the world. You can see the mutual joy and affection being shared between dog and Amy. She is a very well accomplished person with a great history of watching friends dogs with real positive results for play, obedience, and general supervision. What can I say, the dogs love her!

Information Amy G. would like to know about your pet

I would like to be aware of any allergies and diet restrictions the dog may have. I would also like to be aware of distances the dog can walk. What can the dog tolerate? What should be avoided? Are there medical issues I should be aware of, such as seizures and emergency contact information for their specific vet or emergency animal hospital.

A typical day

The beach would be the ideal spot for most walks. The boardwalk and the beach provide a great way to socialize and exercise. Playing fetch, working on learning commands such as shake, sit and lay down are some of my favorite ways to teach a dog while incorporating some fun.
