I'm in a hiking group with Amy, and she frequently brings along dogs she's taking care of. She's always very attentive to their needs, and extremely cautious about potential health hazards like overheating and dehydration. Amy loves to hike, so the dogs get plenty of exercise and get to socialize with other pups in the hiking group.
I heart your dog!
I grew up with dogs and, while I currently don't have a dog of my own, I love dog-sitting for my friends and checking in on their dogs during the day. I happily accommodate to the dog...high energy dogs get walks and hikes, low energy dogs get shorter walks and couches (if allowed, floors if not). I love taking dogs to parks for their walks...gives us a chance to discuss nature and life ...
What Amy would like to know about your dog
I want to know all their weird quirks and neuroses. Dogs, like humans, all have their fears, and knowing all of them is useful! I don't judge the dog and will work around the fears.
