Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats my whole life, including a few less conventional pets along the way. Growing up, I was responsible for the dog training and we took our big breeds to obedience classes. I house-sat and pet-sat for family friends all my life and love animals beyond measure. Currently, our house is home to two very calm, friendly small dogs (~20 lbs), two cats who stay in the background when visitors are around, one turtle, and a guinea pig. We are able to groom dogs- including nail trims, blow dry, ear cleaning, etc. with the help of a certified groomer in the making and former receptionist/vet assistant. Available for in-home and out-of-home care.

I have a fully fenced yard which keeps one of our escape artists in. Both of our dogs are very friendly and can keep your dogs company or they can go in one of our 3 pet-gated bedrooms. Any dog can be crated, if necessary. We have water bowls in every room that are filled with filtered water. We will monitor dogs outside to be sure they are safe and do not overheat. Water is always provided outside and dogs are never left out for extended periods on hot/sunny days. We also have 2 tie-outs in the front, in case dogs need to stay separate. We have plenty of toys and bones for entertainment. We can feed and medicate, as needed. If I am visiting your home, I will always love your pets like they are my own. I love all animals and get a ton of joy just being around them and playing with them and getting to know their unique personalities.

A typical day
We will go on walks wherever you are comfortable. I like to take our dogs on trails and in natural areas to stimulate them and provide enrichment.

Availability
I am currently in between jobs while waiting for my training program to start in late September. I have a very flexible schedule and am available for extra love and care at the moment. I can work around my other gigs or commit to this fully, if needed. Once I start school, I will still have evening and weekend availability.
