I asked Amy to walk out Chihuahua mix on short notice while I was out of town. She was responsive and communicative and everything went smoothly.
Amy was fantastic! She took great care of our dog Toby, even with his behavior issues. Thanks so much Amy!
As long as I've known Amy (over 25 years), she has loved and cared for amazing dogs! She has also done great volunteer work for a dog rescue and served as a dog foster. She has educated herself on how to best care for, support, and nurture dogs of all backgrounds and temperaments and is my go-to expert on all things "dog." In her care, your dog will be loved, cared for immensely, and ...
experience in safe dog handling
I love all dogs from a blockheaded bully needing a power walk to geriatric dogs who prefer smelling the flowers. No matter the breed or size, I will help your furbaby get out some energy and take in some joy while you’re away. I’ve worked with hundreds of dogs through not only my own dog family but local rescue work. I’ve taken countless positive reinforcement based obedience classes and will provide structured ...
What Amy would like to know about your dog
I would like to know about your dog’s daily routine. Whenever I’m home, your dog will be out with me. However, at work your dog is safest in a crate. That is a nonnegotiable due to my other animals.
I have no breed preferences, but for any dog that stays with me I cannot accept aggression for my own animals’ safety. Dog walking or check-ins is different. If you want your dog to stay with me we will do a short meet and greet. You can meet my pups on nuetral territory and make sure all parties are comfortable. I will tell you if I’m unable to manage any behaviors/needs your dog may have. I like to think I can manage most issues, but I will let you know if your dog needs something I can’t provide.
Otherwise, I can’t wait to find out some of your dog’s favorite things to make him or her as comfortable as possible while they’re missing you.
