Availability
My weekly schedule is very flexible. Tuesdays through Thursdays I offer full open availability. On Mondays and Fridays I’m available for walks before 1pm. If you need a time outside of those hours, feel free to message me — I’m often able to accommodate special requests or work around your dog’s unique routine. Out of safety, I do not do walks past the forecasted sunset.

About Amy D.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I focus on safe, positive, structured walks. I use equipment and handling that keeps dogs secure, engaged, and respectful of the community and environment. If the owner doesn’t provide their own gear, I can supply a fixed-length leash (about 4–6 ft), waste bags, and a small treat pouch with training treats — unless you prefer I use only your items. My goal is to make every walk calm, enriching, and stress-free for your dog.
Information Amy D. would like to know about your pet
Before a walk, please share anything important I should know about your dog — including any special needs, sensitivities, medical considerations, or behavioral quirks. This helps me tailor the walk so your dog stays safe, comfortable, and fully engaged in a way that supports their health and well-being.
A typical day
Even on a walk, I’m intentional about keeping your dog mentally and physically satisfied — not just “getting steps.” Depending on your dog’s needs and energy, we might explore new routes, do sniffy walks, practice fun training games on-leash, or stop for a short “fetch / sniff-break” in a safe area. I love making walks enriching, not rushed, so your dog comes home happy, stimulated, and relaxed.

Trainer-Led Walks For Happy Dogs
Pet care experience
I bring both hands-on experience and professional training skills. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and sizes, and currently have four Pomeranians — two of whom were born and raised at home from a litter of five. I’ve also worked as a professional dog trainer for over a year, specializing in positive reinforcement. I use methods like lure-and-reward, shaping, and capturing to build skills without stress. I focus on creating a calm, positive environment where dogs can learn, feel safe, and have fun.
Reviews
She’s excellent with dogs, she’s incredibly patient, considerate and understanding of any animals needs. Animals for here are more of a passion than a hobby.
