Pet care experience
I am an empathetic animal lover who has been known to meet and get to know many neighbors through conversations about their dogs. I love hearing a dog's story and know that an animal can be life changing for a human. Our 11 year old lab/retriever mix changed our family forever and taught our two kids how to have respect for all living things. Since his passing two years ago we help our neighbors regularly with walks and boarding and have also experience caring for aging and dying dogs with reiki and massage. I believe dogs need lots of play, walks, and socialization to be relaxed and happy. It is a pleasure and a great reminder to be happy and present when you have a pooch around.

Amy was great! I have not left my dog with anyone outside of my family before so I was a little anxious leading up to our stay. Amy was very understanding and put my mind at ease by giving various options of activities to do with Maggie when I left. She sent updates and was very flexible about pick-up when our schedule changed multiple times. Maggie was so tired when we picked her up and clearly felt very comfortable around Amy and her family. Thank you again!
Our girl had a great time with Amy and her family. We were worried since she hadn't been with anyone else for the 3 years since her rescue. But our girl just made herself at home and even made sure to say goodbye to Amy. She got plenty of exercise. We will be back if she will have us.
Amy and her family are such kind people. Luna loves staying with them.
Amy and her family were extremely loving and gentle with our dog and she clearly LOVED being with them. Amy was great about dealing with Luna’s medication and food schedule and sensitive to her variable energy levels. We are very thankful to have found Amy.
