Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Amy and I am available to spend time with your fur babies. My whole world revolves around animals. I have a bachelors degree in zoology and managed a very busy doggy daycare through college. As such, I have experienced time with almost every breed, all ages, and a wide variety of temperament levels. In addition, I am more than comfortable administering scheduled medications to your pet including pills, topical treatments, and injections. I am also canine CPR and first aid certified :). I currently have two dogs of my own. Jack is my 12 year old senior boy and nap champion while Bruce is my 3 year old adventure buddy. They are extremely friendly and welcoming to new pets into our home. I do have a small fenced in backyard for quick potty breaks and sunbathing, but we also take multiple, daily walks around the neighborhood. We love hiking and going to the dog park, too! We would love for your pet to become apart of our family! If you have any more questions for me please feel free to reach out. :)
Reviews
Amy is an AMAZING sitter! Our dog, Forrest, is very very terrified of strangers and her fear comes out as aggression which makes finding people to watch her very difficult. People can barely walk on the porch without Forrest lunging at them through the window and it's difficult for us to even have our friends over since Forrest is very sensitive and does not like eye contact or any sudden movements! All of this fear in a 50 pound dog has made us very hesitant to have someone in our home taking care of her. Amy completely understood this type of temperament and was super easy and enthusiastic to work with! She came to our house on 4 separate occasions so we could acclimate the two of them and not once was she afraid or overwhelmed by Forrest's behavior. By the time we left on our trip, Amy was able to walk into our house without Forrest barking or lunging at all and we were amazed. She took amazing care of our home, Forrest, and our cat Juni. She even disinfected all the surfaces she touched before she left along with doing all the linens. She also left us a cute little note with some pothos cuttings from her own houseplant! I highly recommend Amy to watch ANY dog or cat. If she can take care of Forrest, there is literally no dog she would have trouble taking care of! I cannot speak more highly of Amy, finding her has literally changed our outlook and my girlfriend and I feel super comfortable going on trips now without having to worry about Forrest!
Great as usual. Amy sent photos while she watched over our pup and Briggs always has a great time with her and her family.
Amy and her significant other were great with our dog. She kept us up to date with their weekend via pictures. They were very kind and communicated great!
We love the quality time that Amy spends with our (sometimes difficult to handle) Arti. You can tell that Amy loves animals, which comes through her patience with them. Thanks, Amy, for making us sure that we need not worry about Arti when we are out of town!

At my house there is a small, fenced in yard and two friendly, nap loving pups to keep your pet company. The pets can free roam the house (including being on the furniture) and there are beds in literally every room. However, I am also comfortable with crating your pet based on their needs and comfort.

Information Amy D. would like to know about your pet
If your dog is going to be staying at my house for the day or overnight I only ask for a quick meet-up beforehand to ensure our dogs will get along. Also, please bring along some of your pup's food and maybe an article of clothing that smells like you! It helps calms their nerves :).
A typical day
Frequent walks at public parks and dog friendly trails. Dog park! If that's your dog's thing :) Fetch! I have plenty of dog toys all shapes and sizes. Naps! Because who doesn't love naps? & treats galore! Only if their tummies can handle it, of course.
