I've always had dogs and cats- I currently have two kitties - and love them so much that a good part of my career has been devoted to them. I have worked at 2 animal shelters and vet clinics over the years. I grew up on a ranch where we always had animals, and I can read them well enough that they're basically cute, fuzzy people to me. With my variety of experience working and volunteering at various vet clinics and shelters, I have gotten to know pets of all sorts of personalities and temperaments. I have considerable experience with medicating, noticing signs of illness and discomfort, administering subcutaneous fluids, giving injections, testing blood sugar, treating wounds, grooming, and of course, lots of cuddling and playtime!
