Ready to check in on your critters!

Pet care experience

Hi, there! I've cared for dogs and cats - as well as various other animals you can think of on a hobby farm - in my personal life since I was young. Professionally, I've worked for rescues with dogs and cats of varying degrees of health and temperament, worked a doggie daycare/boarding facility that also supplied basic grooming, and also a handful of veterinary practices as a Veterinary assistant. Currently, I'm going through school to get my Veterinary technician certification.

Amy is a wonderful human who takes the best care of our two cats, Xena and Roo. She has an excellent track record of handling Roo's big personality and Xena's shy self adores her. We always get awesome photos and detailed updates on each of our furkids every visit, and it's easier to leave them at home knowing they are in good hands.

Amy did a wonderful job with our cats. They are shy but they both came out to play with her! She sent us excellent photos of them every day. She also braved snow and ice to get to them! I highly recommend her.

Safety, trust & environment

Currently, due to my living arrangement with a roommate, and the need to care for my own pets, I will not be able to bring any pets to my home, nor will I be able to stay at another person's home. Check-ins only.

Information Amy C. would like to know about your pet

What their activity level is and what kind of food and medications/supplements they're on. I also would like to know if they can have any specific treats, and what commands/phrases/key words they know, and what their recall is like (do they come when called).

A typical day

I love just engaging their bodies and minds with training and tricks using treats and/or their favorite toys! Any way that I can bond with them is always a plus! I love to spend one-on-one time with animals to gauge their habits and gain their trust.

Currently, I'm working semi-part time. Monday-Wednesday are my full days, and I work occasional scattered half-day Saturdays. I also have my own dogs to let out before and after work, so my full work days could be a little difficult to work with, but doable.
