Hi! My name is Amy. I have lived in Burlington and Farmington Connecticut most all of my 46 years (I lived in Florida for a few years during and after college). I am a FHS graduate and my family all live and have businesses in the area. There was a time after I received my Accounting Degree that I considered going back to school for veterinary medicine. I was working at an animal hospital and was passionate about caring for animals. Time, money, one reason or another and that career path did not happen. Instead I have offered 20 years of award wining customer service in my sales and entrepreneurial careers. Recently, I found myself shifting some of my work life back towards my lifelong love for pets. I love animals! I love mine, I love yours! They make my heart smile <3 . I considered volunteering at the animal shelters, but that would be dangerous because I would want to take them all home. I currently have cats and no dogs so spending time walking and playing with your dogs brings me (and them) so much joy. I know what it is like to enjoy the love of a pet when returning home from work, lying around at home, or taking for rides in the car to the park. I also know what the guilt or concern feels like when my fur baby is home alone for 8 or more hours a day without company or a bathroom break. I've come home to the house torn up and the neighbors complaining about all day barking because my dog was bored or had energy she needed to work out. I also know the guilt of being too tired to really walk and play with my dog after a long day. I have also enjoyed the gratitude when someone is taking my dog for a midday walk or when someone is feeding and playing with my cats while I am away on vacation. The peace of mind is priceless when someone is checking in on my pets while I am away or at work. 3 years ago I opened a small home and pet services business because I love to help you give the best of care to your pets when you are busy doing something else!
