Pet care experience
I have been raised around all types of animals my whole life. I previously lived on a farm with my parents where we had multiple dogs and a ton of farm animals. I now live in a house with my two small pups who I love to death! I have two roommates who also love dogs so your pup will get plenty of attention. I have a lot of spare time throughout the week and would love to make some extra cash by doing something I love (spending time with dogs)! I can take your dog on a walk or I have a fenced back yard that is a great area where we can play one-on-one. I’m used to high energy dogs who need extra exercise and can accommodate to almost any dog type!

This review isn’t a reflection of Amy as she did not dog sit for us. It was her roommate (Jacob https://r.rover.com/zbJBjV ) she recommended. We weren’t really happy with the amount of time spent at the home. We asked him to spend the night which he did but didn’t return at the times to the house he told us he would. He left multiple lights on when he left. Our dog clearly didn’t like him either as she didn’t eat much & peed on our bed. We had the reservation until 11pm & he last let her out at 3pm. We have a camera by her kennel so we can see the exact amount of time spent in the kennel & the rest of the home. Would not re book him.
Amy did a great job of feeding Babe while I was out of town for Thanksgiving. She got her to take her pill very easily, played with her, and sent plenty of pictures to let me know how she was doing. Made my trip a lot easier. She is a great pet sitter!
Amy was great to coordinate with and very responsive. Randy enjoyed his stay and I am sure we will definitely use Rover and Amy’s services again.
Amy was great with my puppies!! And they loved her. She is very friendly and easy to work with. And did a great job loving and playing with the pups!! Definitely recommend her.

I would prefer to walk small or medium sized dogs just because I only weigh 120 pounds. I have a lot of experience with larger dogs but I would only feel comfortable walking someone else’s larger dog if they listen well and are leash trained.
A typical day
Depending on the dog and how comfortable they are on a leash I can either walk them around my neighborhood or I have a fenced yard where they can run and play. I spoil my pups and they have a ton of treats and toys so I guarantee your dog will not be bored! My chihuahua mix puppies are very friendly but if your dog is not comfortable around other dogs I can easily keep them separated since I have a full-sized house!
