Welcome to Declan's Friends' Pet Retreat! We look forward to hosting your pet in our home. I have been caring for dogs for over 30 years. We have a very large backyard and your pet will enjoy at least two walks a day in our family-friendly neighborhood during his/her stay with us. We also have hiking trails nearby that we use for family walks and outings with our dog, Declan. Declan is a very friendly, loving and sweet three-year-old yellow lab/sheperd mix. Declan doesn't like spending time alone, so we enjoy spending lots of time with him here at our home! As such, Declan loves having friends come to visit him and we love hosting them! We do have an 11 year old daughter and two indoor cats. If your dog is aggressive towards children or cats then we would not be a good fit for your needs. It is my aim to keep all pets as safe as possible while in my care. In order for your pet to be our guest we do require that all pets be up-to-date on vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordetella), flea and tick prevention, and must be spayed or neutered. We will require this documentation at the meet-and-greet. Additionally, young dogs or puppies must be fully house-broken. Thank you very much. We look forward to meeting you and your pet!
