Welcome to Amy’s Animal House. A fun and safe place for your dog to vacation while you are away. I began dog sitting when I was home all day going to school online to earn my Bachelor of Accounting degree after losing my job to outsourcing. I have recently graduated and am now working full time. I work close enough to home that I’m able to go home for lunch to check on the dogs and let them out. If your dog is used to being alone for 4 to 5 hours at a time I would love to watch them while you are out of town. Your dog will have free roam of my home. Unless you have specific sleeping instructions or bring a crate your dog may sleep wherever he/she chooses. Many of the dogs I watch sleep on the bed with me. Our daily routine is a morning walk around the neighborhood (weather permitting). At lunchtime the dogs can play outside for about ½ hour. When I get home from work we go for another walk around the neighborhood. And the rest of the evening your dog can spend as much time outside as they want. I grew up with a dog and have been a dog owner for 14 of the last 17 years. Life is much better when shared with a dog.
