Your pets safety is my top priority

Pet care experience

Amy offers Pet Sitting-House Sitting Dog Walking, and Poop Scooping. I have more than 15 years experience as a pet service provider. Your pet's safety and home is my top priority. While in my care, your pets will be treated as if they are my own. I love all animals and I am comfortable with handling what some call the "bully breeds". What ever pet service you are looking for, I know I can provide it and for a reasonable price as well. Thank you Amy About this sitter: Your pet's safety is my priority. Amy offers pet-house sitting, dog walking, drop in's and poop scooping. I have been offering my services to the San Gabriel Valley for fifteen years. My prices are affordable, and your pets will be safe with me. I treat your pets as if they are my own, and not like just some random clients. I love all animals, and I am living my dream at doing what I do best. Why I love pet sitting I have been a dog lover since the age of 16 but I am now 53 years old. For the last fifteen years I have been actively pet sitting, house sitting and dog walking. Most of my family and friends joke with me and say that I am "the female dog whisperer". It gives me great satisfaction working with dogs and animals. I often have clients who will say "my dog has this bad behavior" but for what ever reason the dog will not act on that behavior with me. I give lots of praise but I am not a push over. My experience administering medication Yes I am comfortable administering medication. I have been doing that as part of my business for years. I also spent 6 years of my life as a medical assistant.

We are so happy we found Amy to watch our dogs. I hate leaving my dogs but Amy made it much easier with all the pictures and updates we received.

Our dog means very much to us and We feel like she was in capable hands with Amy. It's so much nicer for Laci being in a home environment rather than being locked up in a cage somewhere. We got plenty of photos and updates that was very comforting. Thank you Amy

Huge thank you to Amy!! This was Duncan and Cali's first stay with Amy (we just moved to the area), and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Amy is so kind, easy to coordinate with, sent multiple pictures and updates everyday, and most importantly, Duncan and Cali came home happy and exhausted. We are so grateful for Amy!! We'll definitely book with her again for future stays.

When I am watching your animals and home I take very extensive notes before hand at the "meet and greet". I like to stick to the clients feeding schedules, rules and routines.

Information Amy B. would like to know about your pet

If your dog is going to be sleeping on the bed with me or is allowed on the furniture, you must bathe him/her before the stay. Your dog or cat must have a tag with its name and owners phone number. Pet Details, Care Info and Itinerary Care Instruction must be completed before I book the stay I will not accept a clients dog or cat with out these rules/requirements. Knowing if the dog/pet has any behavioral issues would be the best to know. Approaching a dog for the first time that may be aggressive and attack them with praise and cuddles would not be what they like. No, I do not have any breed preferences and I am comfortable working with what some people call "bully breeds". Honesty is the best policy so if you know your pet is not potty trained and uses pee pads to do their business, just let me know so that I can make the accommodations.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks.......... I take my dogs on walks nearest to the clients home. Depending of course if I am pet/house sitting or just dog walking. I will also play fetch with your doggies and play with kitty toys with your kitties. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog would sleep in a crate in a designated area of my home. If your dog is used to sleeping with you, you will bathe her/him before she comes over for pet sitting so they may sleep in the bed with me. Time I'll spend with your dog How much time is up to you. If I am pet sitting in my home, your dog will spend all day long with me. With the exception of 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the afternoon when I pick up my children from school. If am walking your dog I will walk your dog for an hour or play with your dog for an hour weather it be Frisbee or fetch. Time I'll spend with your dog The amount of time I spend with the dog/s is up to the client. I have five absolute rules. #1. I require that all dogs be fully vaccinated before they come to stay/board or are doing dog day care in my home. I need copies of them (vaccines) prior to the stay or day care. The vaccines that I require are: A. DPP*: One- or three-year vaccine required. B. Bordetella: Required every 12 months. Please note, many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request. C. Rabies: One- or three-year vaccine required. #2. If your dog is going to be sleeping on the bed with me or is allowed on the furniture, you must bathe him/her before the stay. #3. Your dog must have a dog tag with its name and owners phone number. #4 Pet Details, Care Info and Itinerary Care Instruction must be completed before I book the stay. #5. I do not accept unaltered male dogs. Male dogs must be neutered. I will not accept a client/dog with out these five rules/requirements. You must fill out the "Itinerary & Care Instructions", “Pet Details” and “Care Info” here on Rover prior to your stay so that I can make your pet as comfortable as possible by knowing his or her routine. My fees for dog boarding are based on a 24 hour window. So, if you drop you dog off at 8:00 a.m. you would be picking them up at 8:00 a.m. the following day or 8:00 a.m. upon the pick up date. I will give a one hour grace period but after that, I will charge the daycare fee. Extra house-sitting services? Yes, I will bring in the mail, rotate lights, water the grass/plants, poop scoop and take the trash to the curb on trash day.
