Our family has always had a dog in our home or around! I recently moved back to Louisville from Atlanta. Living in a state where most of your neighbors are also from another state and don’t have the luxury of family close by, gave me the opportunity to care for dogs (and a few pet rats, and cats) quite often. We have been dog walking, sitting and checking in on dogs for the past six years. We lost our beloved dog, Lennie last year. He was almost 16 and we miss him terribly. Not only do I enjoy caring for dogs just because I love to, I’ve found that doing so helps me feel and give some of the love that we lost when our dog passed. I am available most days of the week and weekends to do check ins- letting your dog out to potty, feeding, refreshing water, playing, walking and other requested services. My average rate is $15-20 per drop in visit and a $5 for each additional pet. *Some factors, such as medical needs, can change rates. I have had dogs stay with me over night and for extended periods of time. I have to get to know the dog for a good period of time before I know if an overnight stay or an extended stay at my house would work. I only want what’s best for your dog and anyone else that might be around. I have cared for dogs of all ages and sizes and as mentioned, cats as well. I also enjoy running, so if you have a dog that needs to release some of their enthusiasm and enjoys a run, I'd be happy to take them out. I am looking forward to getting to know some of the sweet dogs here in Louisville and meeting their families. Amy
