Prior to Covid, I worked in a veterinary office for 12 years as a surgical assistant. It was my passion and I have a lot of experience with care of various animals and all manners of medicating. I have a lot of experience with senior or special needs pets. I have a particular interest in small breed dogs and cats. I enjoy getting to know all pet personalities and do very well finding common ground and making them feel comfortable through treats, play or just some time to decompress. I am home full time (I do leave the house to do drop in visits as scheduled) and can adhere to any schedule needed. Frequent potty breaks are no issue. I have am\pm feeding times for my pets, so any schedule can be adapted for your pet. I take one pet (or household) at a time to ensure I give the best care possible. However, I do have a reoccurring day care client that will be with me several days during the week. So I ask that no aggressive dogs to ensure all parties get along. I am experienced in slow introductions and separate areas while feeding. There are very rare times your pet would be left unattended (my husband is working form home). I do enjoy taking pets with me to run a few errands on the weekend. Please let me know your preference on car rides. I am VERY serious about Covid protocols and will ask that when entering my house a mask is required. I will ask your preference on whether I wear a mask in your residence for drop ins. NOTE: All members of my household have been fully vaccinated for Covid I carry private pet sitter insurance through Pet Care Insurance.
