Hello! I'm a freelance filmmaker, so I primarily work from home either editing or writing. I live alone in a spacious condo with the beautiful La Jolla Colony Park next to my building. I've loved dogs my whole life and hope to own one in the future. I love many breeds of dogs and enjoy having the opportunity to spend quality time with dogs through Rover. I am a mature, reliable, and trustworthy adult who will offer your pet a safe home and lots of love! Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs my whole life! I plan to be a dog owner sometime in the next few years when I am more settled in my career. About my yard I do not have a backyard per se, but there is a large park (unfenced) next to my building. My experience administering medication Yes, I am comfortable administering medication if given detailed instructions beforehand.

Amrita is so awesome it was our first time away from our baby girl Biscuit. We went on a 10 day vacation and every day we got an update of biscuit’s day with pictures. We will definitely have Amrita dog sit for us. Biscuit loves her so much too.

Before sitting a dog, I think it's crucial to know their sleeping and eating habits, their daily exercise requirements, and any special diets or medications they may be on. I have a list of questions I go through during meet & greets to really understand each specific dog's needs and behavior. I love all dogs, but my favorite breeds are Yorkshire Terriers, Scottish Terriers, West Highland Terriers, Poodles, Corgis, Brussels Griffons, Shi Tzus, Mini Schnauzers, and Affenpinschers.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks La Jolla Colony Park is next to my building with walking paths and LOTS of green space to run around in. It is very safe and very clean. People walk their dogs here all hours of the day. Your dog's sleeping arrangement It's great if you have a dog bed available, but if not, your dog is welcome to sleep on my bed. If you have a larger dog, there is plenty of space to sleep on the floor of my bedroom or my living room. Time I'll spend with your dog Since I predominantly work from home, I can spend all day with your dog.
