Hello! My name is Amisa, I have quite a bit of experience with many different breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs, cats, and horses. I have an AAS degree in Equine Management and have loved animals my entire life. My career in the pet care industry started nearly six years ago working at a dog boarding facility taking care of up to 100 dogs. While working at Paws and Pals I learned about individual and pack behavior in dogs, I learned how to assess when a pack was getting to rowdy and how to de-escalate a potential fight. From there I have managed a horse boarding barn, and now I work as a vet assistant at a small, private owned veterinary hospital. I plan on going back to school to get a bachelors in veterinary technology and animal science and possibly pursue a doctorate in veterinary medicine. I provide house sitting services during weekends (Friday-Sunday) only as I have my full time job at the vet hospital.
