I have a true passion for nurturing and caring for animals. I have personal experience in taking care of my own (previous and current) and friends/ family pets. I’m highly attentive to the behavioral, emotional, physical and general needs of the dog. I take initiative to learn as much as I can about the dog and researching on the breed, which helps me in providing the best care for them. In late 2020, I was able to take in and care for a senior husky (April), in which she was exhibiting symptoms of depression, due to separation from her last owner. Since taking in April, her behavior has totally transformed for the better-she’s high energy, happy, she grew her hair back (areas that had bald spots) and has gained a good ten pounds. Her last owner and I remain in contact, and she sees April every week or so to spend time with her. I take pride in providing the best care and support to the dog and their owner.

Excellent communication & service! We were nervous to leave our dogs at first because Brooklyn & Brewsky are 2 very different types of dogs. Amira listened to our concerns, addressed them and assured us that everything will be fine and it was. She communicated with us the whole time including sending pics. Amira was friendly, caring & reliable. We will definitely us her in the future !
Amira is a good friend of mine and she loves dogs I can tell your best friend will be in good hands. She an awesome person, and cares for her dog a lot. We often have play dates and beach days and seeing them run and have fun. Is one of the happiest moments you can have.

The other positive is that April is overall friendly with other dogs. She is rather too calm around other dogs. However, she can be very playful when she wants to play.

A typical day
Aside from going on long walks, I live nearby a number of parks and a dog park. I often go to the park/dog park with April. Some of the activities I’ll engage in may consist of running with the dog and playing fetch.

Availability
I currently work full time. However, I am available to walk the dog weekdays after 5PM, Saturdays after 1 PM and Sundays anytime. I’m available for boarding animals on the weekends.
