I have always been a reliable resource in my community when it comes to taking care of their pets. My many years of experience includes Pet Boarding , Pet/House sitting, Dog walking and Training. I have a passion for all animals, and I do my very best to show that in my work. I am compassionate and creative so you’ll get plenty of picture and video updates from me while your pet is with me. I am currently working as pet care service provider full time from home so my availability is flexible as well as consistent as long as you book your dates in advance . As someone who takes pride in my work, I am always continuing my education in pet care services weather it be in pet first aid, dog training and behavior modification and management as well as bathing and grooming. If you have a dog that needs to be the only dog while boarding in my home because it is reactive to other dogs, I may be able to accommodate within reason. If you have a dog that is fearful of new environments, new people, or even grooming we can discuss how I can help. If your dog needs extra help with specific behaviors and training we can discuss this as well. If you have two dogs that are from the same household I am happy to accommodate within reason. All these details can be discussed at the meet and greet and we can work on a plan for your pet.

We were initially apprehensive about hiring a dog sitter, but our experience with her was outstanding. She went above and beyond to ensure our doggie was well taken care of. Wow what can I say. Aminah is absolutely amazing! Initially, I was very nervous about having someone watch my chihuahua Lola because she normally doesn’t do well with strangers but she handled her with such great care of her and made her feel right at home. She is very professional and you can tell that she enjoys what she does. She also kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and videos which really helped to put me at ease. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter and I would highly recommend her!!
Absolutely amazing experience with Aminah is an understatement believe it or not. This is the second time she has dog sat for me, which I forgot to review the first stay but it was 3 days in early December and then this current one was two weeks. Let me start with I was extremely worried about leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know as I’ve never done that and he is very dog reactive so I worry people won’t be able to handle it and an incident will happen. Not only was Aminah more than qualified but she made me feel so comfortable leaving my baby with her. She suggested we do two meet and greets and even offered a trial babysit for a few hours to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Both stays were amazing and she shared many photos, videos and updates all day and night and also reported everything to keep me updated. She was extremely responsive whenever I reached out and was flexible with being in communication with my friend and father who helped me drop off and pick up my dog during the two stays. She showed my dog so much love and took amazing care of him. Her husband is also really great and my dog really loved him. In addition to dog sitting my dog got a lot of training because Aminah is also a dog trainer and worked with my dog’s issues while he stayed with her. I can’t describe how grateful I am to have found her and will be working with her in the near future to help train me in how to keep all the work she did with my dog going so we can both have better experiences when we encounter dogs. This experience blew away my expectations and I’m so happy to have met Aminah! She will be watching my dog Moses whenever I travel. I would not want anyone else. Such a blessing to have found her.

Let me know if the dog has special needs or behavioral issues especially aggression. I have experience with behavior modification and management, I may be able to accommodate but it is a case by case basis and would have to meet you and your pet to assess.
A typical day
Aside from the pet parent requirements for their pets, I always like to incorporate breed specific enrichment activities and of course training. I like to use my background in training as an enrichment tool. I have toys like snuffle matts . Puzzles, licki mats, an a dog pool in a nice size yard for your pets to play and relax. We will go on at least 3 walks a day ( if it’s not too hot). I live very close to a park we can go to for a field trip and I also live very close to the beach. If your dog likes a pup cup we can go on a field trip for that too! Any activities like field trips can be discussed as well.

Pet care is my full time job and I work from home so our schedule will align with what you require for your pet to have the same consistency as if they were home as well as basic routines that align with my daily schedule as well which we will discuss in the meet and greets and bookings. I’m here to build consistent long lasting relationships with my clients so each case will be specially tailored to your pets needs.
