Pet care experience
I have a 6 year old black lab a two year old vizsla and a very patient cat. I have been professionally walking dogs for the last four years, I love dogs, playing, walking and setting clear boundaries so you will have a well behaved pup. Most of my days are spent walking across Musselburgh Beach along the river or taking the train out to North Berwick. If sitting at your house I am a very tidy house guest, If doing day care at mine they will be treated like one of the family. I only walk a couple of dogs at a time so your pup will get a personalised service! I have completed an online pet care first aid course. Having worked at a vet surgery over lockdown, Your pups will be well looked after.

Absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for more in terms of genuine care and support for our kittie cats while away. Amie is a lovely, trustworthy individual with a strong sense compassion and understanding for animals. She attended our cats daily and took good care of them while meeting their needs restlessly. We would definitively recommend and ask for her help again in the near future!
Amie and Alan provided overnight boarding and care for Ollie, our young Border Collie. On arrival we were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and were invited to go on a walk to get Ollie acquainted with their 2 lovely dogs Rufus and Hamish. This was perfect for us as it provided assurance that Ollie was going to settle in quickly during his short stay, which he clearly did. Amie provided us with regular pupdates and videos which we were so grateful for. It was truly a home from home for Ollie, made so much easy by the easy-going and loving nature of Amie and Alan. Thank you so much, we would definitely use you again.
Amie and Alan are a beautifully caring couple who adore dogs, Milo had an excellent time with them and I will be in touch next time we need some help. Thanks again xx

My preference is for smaller dogs or well behaved large dogs (labrador size) if I’m out walking. I can administer tablets and sub cut Injections if needed. I need to know if your dog is reactive to cats/dogs/people and anything I should look out for. What their favourite kind of walk is/type of bed to sleep on and if they are happy to be left alone (max time)
A typical day
We will take a walk and hang out at my house. If your dog is happy in the car we might take a drive out to East Lothian (provide me with a harness as I have doggy seatbelt attachments) my fav dog friendly cafe in Musselburgh is Meros
