Pet care experience
I have owned pets pretty much my entire life. Love playing with dogs and loving on them. Have raised a lab from 6 weeks old so I’m used to chaotic dogs as well as calm ones. Our household consists of me, my husband, and our 1 year old daughter. We all love animals and are very animal friendly, we have 1 dog (used to have 2) and 2 cats. I used to pet sit for about 10 years and I am loving being around animals again! My husband, daughter, and I absolutely love animals and look forward to treating your animals as our own! I work from home so I can give frequent potty breaks and am around to follow any feeding routine you have in place. We also have a backyard where I can throw a ball or toys and dogs can run around. I am flexible as I will be home pretty much the whole time (aside from maybe some quick errands here and there) I have a fenced yard and an energetic lab who loves friends (but is very nice to small dogs too!). I am ok putting dogs in crates if that is your routine or letting them roam. Whatever your pet’s routine is, I can most likely accommodate

We had a great experience using Amie! I never had Layla stay at a place with another animal before and am so happy I tried it. Amie scheduled a time where the dogs could meet and it was apparent from the beginning the dogs would get alone. I received pictures of Layla and Jessie on walks together and she looked so happy. Layla normally doesn't eat the first night and I was told she ate her dinner. That really told me how comfortable she was there. I have already book another stay with Amie.
Amie is wonderful, our dogs came back happy !

I have a fenced in back yard and a playful lab to keep your dog(s) company. I am around to give potty breaks often. We can accommodate crated dogs and non-crated dogs, whatever they’re used to. We also have a baby gate we utilize so that the dogs don’t go after the cats.

A typical day
We walk the dogs every day and depending on energy level, will play at a park by our house or in our backyard. When they’re ready to rest, the couch and dog beds are available for their naps.
