I am writing to serve as a character reference for Amie in hopes that she will become a new member of the Rover community. I am a close friend and coworker to Amie and have known her for five years. Amie is punctual, dedicated, and caring. She approaches children and animals with gentle encouragement and places their needs above her own. I would trust her with my home, pets, and children under any circumstance. She is a great conversationalist and will have no issue communicating with owners and attending to their needs. She has the awareness and attention to detail necessary for any care-giver, and she loves pets! She often speaks of her own pets and the ways she shows affection and care. She holds no prejudices when it comes to humans or animals. She will be a great team member!

One of the first things I learned about Amie upon meeting her was how much she loves her childhood dog, Benny. Since then, I've come to know her as a loving, responsible, person who would go to great lengths to provide great care for any pet. Many of her qualities that make her fantastic in her day job as a high school teacher (compassion, self-discipline, responsibility), I believe, would serve her well as a pet caregiver.
