Pet care experience
I’ve been helping to care for other’s pets most of my life and have been a go-to for many friends and neighbors for pet care. I have worked with dogs and cats of all ages from puppy/kitten to senior and have cared for many rescues with special needs. I am flexible and happy to accommodate your pet’s specific needs, no matter what those may be!

Amelia is an amazing dog caregiver! With last minute notice, Amelia stepped in and house sat our Aussiedoodle! She gave me constant updates, so I knew our pup was in great hands! Amelia even come to our house prior to house sitting to meet us and our dog. It made me feel that much more comfortable, and I was confident that she would do an awesome job. I would highly recommend Amelia if you are looking for someone responsible and loving to watch your dog. We will definitely be using Amelia again! ☺️

I have experience with many rescues and dogs with special needs, just let me know ahead of time what special needs your dog/pets may have, and a bit about their background! I’m extremely patient with special needs pets and don’t mind cleaning up messes or making accommodations.
A typical day
What does your pup love to do? I’m very happy to keep your pets on their routine and do their favorite activities with them! Past active activities include going to the neighborhood dog park, throwing tennis balls around at the tennis court for them to catch, setting out a pool to splash in on the back deck, playing with their toys, and lots of walks! I really enjoy finding trails and paths and exploring with your pup by my side!

Availability
I work in the Atlanta film industry with a few other part-time media jobs, so driving from one place to another and staying overnight is not unusual or inconvenient for me.
