I really appreciated that Amelia responded very quickly and was available to house and dog sit on very short notice over Father's Day weekend. And with all her professional experience with dogs, high review rating and return customers, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. She did not follow the agreed upon schedule for arrival at our house, which meant our dogs didn't get their dinner until much later than their usual time, even though she gave them an afternoon snack. This altered feeding schedule wasn't ideal, especially for our senior dog. Then on the second day, after coming back to the house to feed the dogs, she asked if it would be ok if she didn't stay at the house with the dogs over night as planned, but left them alone for the night. I was quite surprised by her request to leave, to say the least. She did not end up leaving, and I do believe that her care of our dogs was adequate, but certainly not outstanding. But because of these issues, I would not book Amelia to stay with our dogs again.

Amelia has cared for my 2 Portuguese Water Dogs for many years. I trust her explicitly with their safety, well-being and comfort whenever I travel out of town sometimes for a week or longer. One of my dogs an elder of 14 1/2 years on meditation, which Amelia handles well. I highly recommend Amelia.
