I grew up around cats and dogs my whole life. A few years ago I started adopting dogs of my own! Two years ago I decided to turn my passion into a profession and worked at the Humane Society of Charlotte for over a year. While at the shelter I worked in Animal Care. We fed the cats and dogs, cleaned their kennels, bathed and medicated when needed, husbandry duties, enrichment, walks, matching them to their forever humans, and much more. I was also lucky enough to help facilitate the basic obedience training classes. I have also completed many levels of obedience training with many of my own dogs. I no longer work for HSC but continue to foster for them! I truly love taking care of pets! I currently work as a restaurant manager 5 days a week. I am more than comfortable crating a dog, medicating cats and dogs, leashing up, harnesses, feeding both cats and dogs. Due to the number of pets in my home, I would only feel comfortable having puppies in my home for care. However, I am more than comfortable caring for all breeds and sizes in your home!
