Conservationist needing my dog fix!
Pet care experience
Volunteering at various animal rescues, I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs (and cats!) from terriers and miniature pinschers to rottweilers and german shepherds. Having lived in Tavernier for 3 years now, I’m looking to expand my network of 4-legged friends. I'm comfortable taking it slow and caring for older dogs, including cleaning up accidents in the house and giving medications. I am not comfortable with injections but am comfortable administering oral medications, ointments, and eye drops. I have experience walking multiple dogs at a time and am happy to watch up to 3 dogs at a time! My car is dog-friendly and am more than happy to take your big (or small!) dog for a run, to the dog park, the beach, or anywhere else they like to go! My availability: I work a (mostly) 9-5 weekday job. I often have the opportunity to leave in the middle of the day for a mid-day walk if needed. I live on a canal, have a balcony, and have access to a local dog park.

Amelia house sat for us over during a long Holiday week. She took excellent care of our fur babies while we were gone overseas. She updated us when needed and paid extra attention to one of my babies that was having some medical issues. We never had to worry about them while we were gone. I would definitely use her again and would recommend to anyone needing a responsible sitter.
Amelia has watch my Great Dane on a few occassions and she has been on time, courteous and professional. Tanner loves her and looks forward to her drop in visits. We will be using often and I highly recommend her to other pet owners.
Amelia's care of my shy rat terrier and my geriatric min pin was above and beyond what was expected. She visited with and walked the dogs as agreed but Amelia was met with the unexpected. My senior required extra care anyway but there were unexpected issues too. In my absence Amelia took charge of the situation, reaching out to my vet and keeping me in the loop at all times. My little old guy was recovering very well once I arrived home. Both my dogs were happy and well. Amelia's care for my dogs was excellent, and this gave me great peace of mind while away from home. I will certainly call her again.
While at the University of Southern California (USC), Amelia Moura (my daughter) was President of PAWS, a student-run organization that supports animal shelters and cares for feral animals. During her 4 years at USC, Amelia frequently walked dogs for the Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles. At home, Amelia cares for and walks our energetic goldendoodle at least twice a day. Daisy loves Amelia more than anything else in the world.
