Hello! My name is Millie, and I am a huge dog lover. I have worked in pet care, specifically doggy daycare and overnight boarding, since 2017. My passion has always been dogs. I understand the importance a dog holds within a family, and while in my care, I treat them as if they were my own. My dog is very important to me, and I would want the very best care for him. When house sitting or doing drop in visits, I will ask several questions to understand the safety of your home. Some questions will involve, where the dog is and is not allowed within the house, specific questions about the neighborhood your house is located in, I will also ask whether you have preferences as to where your dog is walked and if there is any specific things such as a harness you would like me to use when walking your dog. I will also ask questions regarding your dog’s health such as allergies, and medical conditions to ensure I can care for your dog as you would.

I can't recommend Amelia enough!! She's does an outstanding job and always goes above and beyond. I couldn't have left the dogs in any better hands and because of her, I have peace of mind when I'm gone. She's the sweetest and most caring person to my dogs and it shows how much she has a heart for any dog. I wholeheartedly recommend Amelia and she's definitely the best dog sitter I've ever had!
I have 2 dogs who couldn't be more different - one who is quite old (16 yo) and one who is only 2 and very shy and jumpy. Amelia couldn't be more perfect for them! She has worked with dogs for years at a popular (and very busy!) dog resort (boarding and daycare) that I occasionally take my shy dog to for socialization. When he sees her he runs to her and knows all will be ok! Because of her excellent care, compassion and expertise, I have also asked her to care for my dogs in my home. She comes to my house, spends the night when needed, and loves on them. Both are completely comfortable when Amelia is around! When she is taking care of them I know I will be able to relax and not have to worry. I can't say enough good things about her!
Amelia’s love for dogs shows when she is taking care of your dog. She understands what my dog wants and needs which is key to being a fantastic dog walker. She is closely in tune with my dogs behavior. My senior dog has medication and I trust Amelia to give the medication accurately and correctly. I highly recommend!

When caring for your dog, I feel it is important to keep the dog as comfortable and happy as possible. I find it is important to not only stimulate the dog physically but, mentally as well. This means when walking your dog, I will not only take them for a walk but work on their skills and tricks as well. To mentally stimulate your dog, I have enrichment opportunities such as puzzles to keep your dog stimulated. I would love to know what acitvites your dog specifically loves!
